Day 2: Pretoria to Kruger National Park

Today you depart for the Kruger National Park. The park is one of the renowned Game Parks in the world.  With a length of 325 km and a width of 80 km the park covers approximately 20 000 square km and about 1.7% of the country of South Africa.  It is the biggest game reserve of South Africa.  Noah’s Arc – as the park is also called – is home to 140 different mammals and 500 bird species.  Besides the “Big Five” – lions, leopard, elephant, buffalo and rhinos – you will also find other big cats eg the cheetah, antelopes like Impala, kudu and waterbuck and wild dogs. In the afternoon you will take part in a game drive in the Greater Krüger Nationalpark area.

Day 3: Kruger National Park

An interesting day in nature with the fascinating game that the area has to offer.   Be prepared with your camera.  Early in the morning, as well as in the afternoon, you will enjoy an open vehicle game drive in the Greater Krüger Nationalpark.

Day 4: Kruger National Park to Mpumalanga

Before breakfast another open vehicle game drive takes place.   Thereafter you will view the spectacular Panorama route and visit God’s Window:  weather permitting you have beautiful views of the surrounding mountains and the “Lowveld” below. We visit  „Bourke’s Luck Potholes“  and you will also see one of the biggest and most natural beautiful wonders of South Africa - Blyde River Canyon. Enjoy the view of the 16km Canyon. The river is flowing through this canyon.

Day 5: Mpumalanga, Johannesburg, Cape Town

Depending on the weather you could go up Table Mountain – the ticket for the cable car is not included in the price.

Day 7: Cape Town

A full day tour to Cape Point will take place. We drive through Hout Bay and continue to the Cape Nature Reserve.   Enjoy the view from the point where people say that the two oceans meet, which is a myth. Continue the drive along False Bay via Simon’s Town, where we visit the penguins at Boulders, and then continue via Fish Hoek.   We visit Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens with its impressing fauna and flora before you return to your accommodation. You bid your guide farewell.
